Hi Lydia, thanks for the comment. I definitely consider Mike Gravel to be anti-war. I was unaware, until today when I looked it up, that he had run for president before this year. (2008 according to Wikipedia.) Thanks for pointing that out!

As for Sanders’ record since 2001, he has voted for some defense/war appropriation bills since then. I had originally intended to list these in the article, but it proved to be tedious to look them all up individually. I admit that’s incomplete on my part. His support for the F-35 has been active since 2001. There’s other things if you look for them, like his 2009 vote to keep Guantanamo Bay open (https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016/03/bernie-sanders-hillary-clinton-voting-history/). Personally, I wouldn’t describe it as 18 years of good votes, but you can check it out for yourself and see what you think.
